Build a Useful Club Kit Size Record

A club kit list becomes easier to manage when each measurement is tied to a specific garment. A player who wears one size in a playing shirt may choose a different size in a midlayer.

Use one row per garment

Record the garment name, supplier, chart date, size and units. Include whether the chart describes a body measurement or a finished garment measurement. Do not combine a chest measurement in inches with a number copied from a centimetre chart.

Keep adult and junior charts separate

Our preserved Blueharts guide separates several senior and junior garments. The original FFF guide also provides different measurements for tops and bottoms. Link the record to the matching chart instead of copying a number without context.

Check before changing supplier

When a club changes an item or supplier, review the relevant chart again. Keep the old record as a reference, but mark the new model clearly so that it is not confused with an earlier garment.
